More than 500 patients were provided with primary healthcare and free medicines under this initiative for SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being.

The session was more than just presentations and discussions—it featured engaging outdoor interactive activities designed to foster team spirit, enhance communication skills, and deepen their understanding of our organisational values. From problem-solving challenges to collaborative activities, our MTOs had the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and grow together.

Packages Group’s Women ACTS Platform celebrated its 7th Anniversary!
ACTS continues to be a powerful platform for empowering women, fostering leadership, and driving positive change. We are dedicated to advancing initiatives that support female empowerment and advocate for policy reforms. It was a pleasure to welcome Nabila Zar Malick, Head of Partnership and Communications at the UN Women’s Country Office in Pakistan, who provided valuable insights on gender advocacy. We also had the privilege of hosting Madeeha Khan, President of the Centre for Advanced HR & Executive Presence (CHREP), who led an inspiring workshop on women in leadership.
Syeda Henna Babar Ali’s presence further enriched the event.
The event saw participants from PCL, IGI, Omya Pack, Starch Pack, PREPL, and DIC join us in this celebration.

At Packages Limited, our commitment to advancing water stewardship and promoting sustainable practices is a priority across the Group.
This year, as part of 2024 Water Week, we launched our campaign with a workshop in collaboration with WWF, centered around the theme “Bridging Borders: Water for a Peaceful and Sustainable Future.”
We appreciate Mr. Arjmand Qayum from WWF for sharing his expertise on Sustainable Water Management Practices. His insights provided valuable strategies for preserving water resources across various sectors and industries.
Together, we are working towards a future where water is a shared responsibility, protecting our planet’s most vital resource!

Packages Group in collaboration with Transparent Hands organised a medical camp at BSP at BSP’s Jhang Purchase Center as one of our supply chain sustainability initiatives.
283 people were provided free medical advice and medicines as a part of our SDG 3 initiative: Good Health for All!
In celebration of International Youth Day, a full-day​ trip to Syedanwala Schools in Kasur was organized with 19 young professionals from the Group. This day provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with over 200 students from both the boys and girls school, through various activities focused on sustainability.
The day was filled with educational sessions on key sustainability themes, a vibrant poster competition, and a tree plantation activity to conclude the event.
In addition, an insightful awareness session was conducted at DIC Pakistan Limited for their employees to mark this important day.

Packages Group organised a USAID Energy Engineers visit to Bulleh Shah Packaging Pvt. Ltd. (BSP) Kasur. Over 30 fresh graduates from universities across Pakistan visited BSP. They explored the state-of-the-art biomass boiler at BSP. This visit aligns with the Packages Group’s agenda to demonstrate to the younger generation the workings of advanced systems for their learning and to provide insights into industrial operations.
This initiative reflects Packages Group’s commitment to sustainable production policies and aligns with our dedication to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This effort aims to create a better future and prepare the next generation for their professional journeys.
By promoting sustainable industrial practices and educating future professionals, we are contributing to SDG 4,7,9.
We are excited to share that Packages Group, with the addition of 2 more companies, has successfully conducted a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) audit, adhering to the GHG Protocol standards. This is a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Conducting this audit has provided us with a detailed understanding of our carbon footprint, covering Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions. It has also helped us identify opportunities for improvement and align our practices with industry standards for reducing emissions.
